Cytogenetic/FISH Lab
Cytogenetic/FISH Lab
Fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH) is a molecular cytogenetic technique that uses fluorescent probes that bind to only those parts of the chromosome with a high degree of sequence complementarity. It is used to detect and localize the presence or absence of specific DNA sequences on chromosomes. It can define the disease gene within cells and tissues.
Our cytogenetic/FISH lab is the largest lab in China. We could offer over 3000 species FISH tests and test more than 13,000 specimens every year.
Our test including: chromosome detection(bone marrow/ peripheral blood),Congenital chromosomal abnormalities screening,FISH of blood disease and so on.
