The 600th transplant patient survived disease-free for five years

  In 2012, a 6-year-old patient was admitted to a local hospital for ATG treatment, but it was fail. Under the recommendation of the friends, the parents took her to Hebei Yanda Lu Daopei hospital in April, 2014. After admission examination, she was diagnosed as "Severe aplastic anemia". Due to the failure of ATG treatment, the doctor decided to give the patient a hematopoietic stem cell transplant.

  On May 26, 2014, the patient underwent allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in our hospital. The donor was her mother and HLA partial coincidence (5/10 loci coincide), blood type match (B for B). After 13 days leukocyte engraftment, After 11 days platelet engraftment. After 22 days the patient began to appear "acute graft-versus-host disease IV ° (skin, liver, gastrointestinal tract)", "viral enteritis", given anti-GVHD treatment, active anti-virus and improved intestinal flora treatment, liver function returned to normal, the rash disappeared, and the stool returned to normal.

  Now, she stopped the medicine for 2 years, and check in regularly at our hospital, and the indicators are normal, and has returned to campus and normal life.

  Till June 30, 2019, Lu Daopei medical team completed 5484 transplants. In the past three years, almost 10% of transplants in China each year were completed by the Lu Daopei medical team. And we hope can help more patients to get a new life.
