Bone Marrow Transplantation Make Acute Myeloid Leukemia Kid Got into Complete Remission
For March 12, 2016,this should be a normal day for Yu Zixuan, who was only a 2-year-old kid when his parents took him to the hospital for routine medical examination. He was diagnosed as acute myeloid leukemia.

On February 23, 2017, the harvested stem cell was infused to Yu Zixuan, after 10 days the platelets graft and 17 days the white blood cells graft, 25 days after transplant his marrow function has been restored by the transplanted stem cells, and bone marrow residual is negative. Meanwhile, he needs drugs to prevent GVHD. On May 15, 2018, Yu Zixuan got admission again for impaired liver function due to the drug he had to prevent the early stage complication. After 8 days of treatment, he discharged from hospital and continue routine follow-up.
